URBANA, Ill. - The sixth ranked Illinois men's tennis team swept Toledo (4-0) and Indiana (7-0) Sunday inside Atkins Tennis Center. With the two victories, the Illini move to 11-2 on the season.

Illinois took the early lead in both matches, after grabbing the doubles point. No. 11 Tim Kopinski and Ross Guignon grabbed two doubles wins. The senior duo defeated Monette/Bednarczyk (IU) 8-3 and Espinosa/Sisko (TOL).

"Always happy to get two victories," head coach Brad Dancer said. "Always feels good to play at home when we know it's going to be about a month until we're back here in this building. Overall today was considerably better in the doubles."

In singles vs. Toledo, Brian Page defeated Stephen Miller 6-0, 6-1 on court six. No 37 Tim Kopinski won on court two with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Mark Singnil. Ross Guignon also secured a victory, taking down Roberto Meza 6-2, 6-0.

In singles vs. Indiana the Illini won each match in straight sets. Tim Kopisnki capped of a two win day in singles. Kopinski defeated Raheel Manji Bednarczyk 6-4, 6-2 on court three.
