CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – With a four-set victory over No. 15 seed Louisville last Friday in the NCAA second round, the Fighting Illini volleyball team earned their third-straight NCAA Regional appearance and will travel to Des Moines, Iowa to face second-seeded Minnesota in the regional semifinal on Friday (Dec. 11) at 5 p.m. CT in the Wells Fargo Arena.
The second semifinal match with feature seventh-seeded Penn State and Hawaii at 7:30 p.m. The winners of the two matches will then meet on Saturday (Dec. 12) at 5:30 p.m., for the chance to advance to the NCAA national semifinals in Omaha, Neb., on Dec. 17.
Both semifinal matches will be streamed on ESPN3, with the regional final being aired on ESPNU.
