Catamaran Ride Highlights Illini's Day Off in Dominican Republic

BOCA CHICA, D.R. - After playing five games in three days, the Fighting Illini had a day off from baseball on Wednesday. The Illini took a catamaran ride to Isla Saona, which featured music and dance lessons. The team then played games on the beach and enjoyed a barbecue along with taking a speedboat ride to a sandbar.
Up Next: The Illini will square off against the Tigres del Licey Reserve Squad of the Dominican Winter League, which consists of players at the Class-A level and above, on Thursday. Illinois also will celebrate Thanksgiving with a team dinner at night.
