Olympia Fields Round Two Results 
OLYMPIA FIELDS, Ill. - The No. 13 Illinois men's golf team finished round two of the Olympia Fields/Fighting lllini Invitational presented by Polo with a second round score of 299 for a total of 588 (+28) at the par-70 course. The Illini are in ninth place, just five strokes behind fifth-place Florida State and Alabama. Stanford leads the tournament with a one-under par score of 559.
Two Illini sit in the top-20, with senior Luke Guthrie (143) leading the team after a second-round score of 72 (+2). Guthrie carded an eagle on hole 15 and is tied for ninth, seven strokes behind leader Cameron Wilson (136) of Stanford. Junior Mason Jacobs (146) is three shots behind in a tie for 19th after posting a 76 (+6) in the second round.
Sophomore Jonathan Hauter (148) follows closely and is tied for 38th after a three-over par 73 in the second round. Sophomores John Gullberg (152) and Thomas Pieters (153) finished the second round with a 78 and 79, respectively.
Behind Stanford is Oklahoma State (570) and Auburn (578) to round out the top three team scores. Individually, three Cardinal players are in the lead, with Andrew Yun (137) and Patrick Rodgers (138) trailing leader Wilson.
The final round of the 54-hole tournament begins on Sunday morning with tee times running between 8 and 9:12 a.m. Live scoring can be found on golfstat.com while a recap and results will be posted on fightingillini.com.
