Hartleb to Make Appearance at CornBelters Game

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - University of Illinois head coach Dan Hartleb will be appearing at Wednesday's Normal CornBelters game as part of the team's Illini Night at the Corn Crib, presented by the Illini Club of McLean County. Hartleb will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game and will be interviewed by WEZC 95.9, a part of the WJBC Normal CornBelters Radio Network, during the game. The game begins at 7 p.m.

Hartleb led the Illini to the NCAA Fullerton Regional in the 2011 season after capturing Big Ten regular-season and tournament titles for the first time in the same season in school history. Illinois won 18 of its final 24 games, including an incredible eight-game winning streak that clinched both Big Ten titles.
