Illini student-athletes learned how to make quick, easy, low cost, nutritious meals and snacks at the Budget-wise Meals" workshop. Susan Kundrat and her staff assisted the group in making Crispy Coconut Chicken Fingers, Roasted Vegetables, Chili, Crockpot Chicken Stroganoff and Chocolate Banana Berry Shakes.
DIA Sports Nutritionist Susan Kundrat lead this session which is designed to prepare freshmen for living in an apartment where they'll need to be able to cook for yourself. Student-athletes sliced and diced their way through this interactive workshop working in teams to learn how to make quick, easy nutrition meals and snacks.
