Qualifying Draw | Order of Play (11/13)

URBANA, Ill. - Several current and former Illini will be in action Saturday in the first day of qualifying play at the 2010 JSM Challenger at Atkins Tennis Center in Urbana, Ill. The qualifying field is scheduled to include current Orange and Blue seniors Johnny Hamui and Connor Roth, as well as sophomores Bruno Abdelnour, Stephen Hoh and KU Singh, and 2008 graduate Ryan Rowe, who won the 2006 NCAA doubles title alongside 2008 JSM Challenger singles champion, Kevin Anderson.

"We're very excited to be hosting the Challenger again this year," Illinois head coach Brad Dancer said. "It's always a great opportunity for our guys to compete in a big tournament on our home court. They've been working hard this fall and we hope to have a great turnout."

The main draw will now feature four players with Illinois tennis connections, as current team members senior Abe Souza and junior Dennis Nevolo received wild cards, as did 2003 NCAA singles champion and three-time All-American, Amer Delic. Delic, who reached a career-high world ranking of No. 60 in 2007, made his return to the court this past August after a knee injury and subsequent surgery had kept him sidelined since July 2009. Fellow All-American Ryler DeHeart earned an automatic entry into the main draw based on his world ranking of 251.

A complete list of participants and schedule play for the qualifying draw will be released later tonight. Qualifying play runs Nov. 13-14, with the main draw set to begin on Monday, Nov. 15.
