CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Illinois junior forward Chichi Nweke raked in Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week honors after notching two goals and an assist in a pair of wins over Colorado College and Washington. Nweke earned her first career weekly honor and the second from Top Drawer this season, along with junior midfielder Jackie Santacaterina.

Nweke tallied the game-winning goal in a 2-0 victory over Colorado College on Friday, then added her team-leading fourth goal and third assist on Sunday in the 3-0 win against Washington. Both teams were previously undefeated, but Illinois continued its dominance at home, winning its 11th in a row, with 10 shutouts during the span.

Nweke and the Illini hit the road this weekend, traveling to Wisconsin and Northwestern to open Big Ten play. The Orange and Blue will take on the Badgers on Friday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. before wrapping up the weekend against the Wildcats on Sunday, Sept. 28 at noon.
