SKILLMAN, N.J. - In the inaugural ITA Attendance race for regular season matches, the Illini men finished second, behind No. 1 Virginia (6,590), with a total of 6,046 fans packing the Atkins Tennis Center during the 2008 season. Illinois also finished second in average attendance with approximately 550 faithful Orange and Blue fans coming out to cheer on the Illini at each home match.

Illinois' home match against No. 1 Virginia, back on January 25, drew a season-best 1,231 fans to the Atkins Tennis Center.

On the women's side, the Illini finished fifth in the nation in average attendance, bringing in an average of 156 fans at each home match. Due to only having seven home matches, the Illini women were not in the overall attendance poll.
