• Lars Davis' home run was his sixth of the season, setting a new career record and moving him into sole possession of the Big Ten home run lead. He also moved into the conference lead in hits (43) and batting average (.478).

• Nick Stockwell's second-inning, three-run home run was the first of his career.

• Davis' four-hit game was his fifth of the year in just 21 games, and his 12th multiple-hit game. He has now collected multiple hits in nine of his last 11 games. Davis increased his career-best hitting streak to 14 games.

• Today's game marked the sixth time Illinois has reached double-digits in runs, 13th time the Illini have had 10 or more hits in a game, and seventh time the Orange and Blue have recorded 15 or more hits in a game.

• Shawn Roof continues to steal bases at an incredible rate, now with 18 swipes in 21 games. For the season, Roof is 18-of-20. In comparison, Ryan Rogowski, who stole 31 bags in 2005, had just 12 steals through 21 games.
