Urbana, Ill. - Illinois celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for Martin Stadium on Saturday, April 21. Alice Martin, who earned her MBA from Illinois, addressed the crowd and gave the team three pieces of advice: follow your passion, do the right thing and give back.

The Rex and Alice A. Martin Foundation, which was founded in 2001, echoes her mission to give back. The foundation funds major projects in cities where the more than 3,000 employees of their family business, NIBCO, work, and gives back to those institutions that provided them with their foundation for success.
