This week, I'm going to take a step back away from the usual volleyball blog. Instead, I'm going to tell everyone the exciting things we do off the court!

Despite being around each other during practices, traveling, and games, we still like to spend time together outside of volleyball. For instance, this past weekend was Kylie's birthday. To celebrate, we had a barbeque together to watch the Illini football game on Saturday night. Being a Wisconsin girl at heart, you can't say no to brats and cheese!

Even Monday, our day off, we managed to spend time together. For us upperclassmen that don't have the luxury of a warm meal being prepared for us three times a day, we went to the dorms to eat lunch with the freshman. Despite being stared at because we are at least four inches taller than most of the people in there, it was still a nice break. No matter what happens on the court, it's nice to have a team that enjoys being together off the court as well.
