ILLINOIS
- Rashard Mendenhall rushed for 85 yards tonight vs. Michigan to move to 14th on the school's all-time rushing list with 1,782 career yards.
- Antonio Steele had a game-high 12 tackles tonight, which also tied his career high first set last season at Rutgers.
- Kevin Mitchell recorded his third interception of the season with his pick in the 1st quarter. He is now tied with Vontae Davis for the team lead on the year.
- Illinois' 13-play, 90-yard, 6:23 minute drive capped by Daniel Dufrene's 8-yard TD run in the second quarter marked the Illini's longest drive of the year in all three categories.
- The 8-yard TD run by Dufrene was his first career touchdown.
- Justin Sanders recorded his first interception of the season in the third quarter. It was the second of his career.
- David Lindquist set a career best with two sacks tonight. He now has 3.5 sacks this season and 5.5 for his career.
- Jacob Willis' 26-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter was his longest catch of the year and his first TD catch this season.
