ILLINOIS

  1. Rashard Mendenhall rushed for 85 yards tonight vs. Michigan to move to 14th on the school's all-time rushing list with 1,782 career yards.

  2. Antonio Steele had a game-high 12 tackles tonight, which also tied his career high first set last season at Rutgers.

  3. Kevin Mitchell recorded his third interception of the season with his pick in the 1st quarter. He is now tied with Vontae Davis for the team lead on the year.

  4. Illinois' 13-play, 90-yard, 6:23 minute drive capped by Daniel Dufrene's 8-yard TD run in the second quarter marked the Illini's longest drive of the year in all three categories.

  5. The 8-yard TD run by Dufrene was his first career touchdown.

  6. Justin Sanders recorded his first interception of the season in the third quarter. It was the second of his career.

  7. David Lindquist set a career best with two sacks tonight. He now has 3.5 sacks this season and 5.5 for his career.

  8. Jacob Willis' 26-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter was his longest catch of the year and his first TD catch this season.

  9. Tonight's sellout crowd of 57,078 marked the third consecutive sellout this season at Memorial Stadium and the first time with at least three sellouts in a season since 1986 when Illinois sold out six games.
