Champaign, Ill. - This was an absolutely amazing weekend for us, as we traveled to Michigan State and Northwestern for two tough road matches.

At Michigan State, we started out 0-2 and looked as though we were about to get our third Big Ten loss of the season. However, coming out of the locker room after an inspirational talk from the coaches, we were determined to show what we are made of. We pushed through the next three games and won 3-2. This was a huge moral victory for us, as we finally pushed through to win in a five-game match.

We couldn't do much celebrating as we flew to Northwestern right after the match for our second challenge of the weekend. After learning a valuable lesson the night before, we came out firing and swept Northwestern in 3. Personally, I think it was the delicious pregame meal at the Alde house that did the trick! To get two road wins in the Big Ten is a very hard thing to accomplish, but we're truly starting to reach our potential.

This weekend, we're finally at home! again, as we play Indiana on Friday and Purdue on Monday. Hopefully we can keep our winning streak going!
