Sophomore defender Emily Zurrer was named to the Soccer Buzz All-America third team Wednesday, marking Zurrer's sixth award of the 2006 postseason. Nine days ago, Zurrer was named a first team All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and adidas.

Zurrer (Vancouver, B.C.) also was named the Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of the Year, and earned a spot on TopDrawerSoccer's Team of the Season first team. Earlier this week, Zurrer was named to the Soccer Buzz All-Great Lakes Region squad and she was an All-Big Ten Tournament selection.
