  • Juice Williams' 45-yard run in the second quarter was the longest rush by an Illini quarterback since Kurt Kittner's 61-yard touchdown run vs. Louisville as a true-freshman in 1998.

  • The Illinois offense rushed for 211 yards vs. the Bobcats. It marks the fourth game the Illini have topped 200 yards rushing this season.

  • Illinois' defense held Ohio scoreless in the first quarter, marking the eighth scoreless quarter for an Illini opponent this season.

  • Juice Williams set a career high with 16 completions (previous best, 10 vs. Indiana) and tied his career high with two passing TDs (third time, also vs. Syracuse and vs. Indiana).

  • Freshman tight end Jeff Cumberland had a career-high three catches vs. Ohio and scored his first career touchdown with a 15-yard catch from Juice Williams in the second quarter.

  • Junior receiver Frank Lenti caught the first touchdown pass of his career on a 44-yard reception from Williams in the fourth quarter. Along with being his first TD catch, the 44-yard reception was the longest of his career.

  • Rashard Mendenhall ran for a career-high 94 yards tonight (previous best 75 yards vs. Eastern Illinois).

  • J Leman led the Illini in tackles for the sixth straight game with 13 tonight against Ohio. This also marks Leman's sixth consecutive game registering double figures in tackles. He ranks second in the Big Ten in tackles on the season, averaging 11.1 per game.

  • Justin Sanders made his first career interception on the final play of the first half, picking off a pass in the endzone.

  • Illinois' first scoring drive of the evening was a 10-play drive resulting in a 32-yard field goal by Jason Reda. It marked Illinois' 13th scoring drive of over 10 plays on the season.

  • The second Illinois scoring drive (Cumberland's TD reception) took only 52 seconds, which is the third-shortest scoring drive of the season and seventh under two minutes this year.

  • The Illini posted four plays of over 25 yards vs. Ohio (45-yard run by Williams, 30 yard run by Mendenhall, 44-yard catch by Jody Ellis and a 44-yard catch by Frank Lenti). It brings the total of big plays this season to 22.
