Champaign, Ill. - Theresa Grentz's 2005-06 Fighting Illini squad will open its exhibition season on Monday night at Assembly Hall against the Ohio Girls Basketball Report (OGBR) Legends. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. OGBR features former collegiate players from Ohio, Indiana, Texas, West Virginia and Georgia. Last season the Illini defeated the Legends 62-45 at Assembly Hall.

The Orange and Blue will have one more exhibition tune-up when Lewis University comes to town on Nov. 13 before opening the regular season at Loyola on Friday, Nov. 18. Illinois' home opener will be on Nov. 29 at 6 p.m. vs. Northern Illinois.
