Play at the Puerto Rico Invitational was postponed on Thursday due to scattered showers that plagued the area today. The original for today's matches will resume first thing tomorrow morning with Friday's schedule to follow that.
On Wednesday with the weather forcast looking grim they decided to play one round of doubles a day before the event was originally to begin. Illinois faced off against Georgia Tech in three matches and California in the fourth. Kevin Anderson was successful in his first match as a collegiate as he paired with junior Pramod Dabir to grab a victory against Tech's duo of Rath and North 8-6. The Illini split the four matches with Ruben Gonzalez and Conner Murnighan picking up the second win over Cal's Nakahara and Pettit 8-6.
