Watch Illinois' Mark Jayne (133) and Alex Tirapelle (157) Midlands Championship Finals matches on Saturday, Jan. 17 at 8 p.m. On Fox Sports Chicago. The two-hour broadcast will feature Session 4 of the event, which includes all of the place-matches. Fox Sports Chicago will re-broadcast Midlands at noon on Jan. 20 and at 7 p.m. on Jan. 30.

The University of Illinois wrestling team took first place of the 41st Annual tournament behind the finals win by Tirapelle and a tournament-high seven placewinners. Three hundred sixty-one wrestlers and a total of 61 teams competed in the two-day tournament, which took place Dec. 29-30, 2003 at Welsh-Ryan Arena.
