Champaign, Ill. - The University of Illinois baseball team had its series finale with Michigan State rained out after three innings of play with MSU leading 3-1. Per Big Ten rules, the game will not be made up.

Illinois returns to action this Tuesday in O'Fallon, Mo., with a single game against Missouri before hosting Eastern Illinois Wednesday at 6:35. Illinois travels to Penn State next weekend for a four-game Big Ten series.
