After mixed success yesterday in the opening round of the Kona (Hawaii) Invitational, the Fighting Illini men's tennis team asserted its dominance against a capable Wake Forest squad today. Coach Craig Tiley's squad swept all nine singles matches, dropping just one set in the process, and won three of its four doubles contests.
"We played much better, today, especially in doubles," said Tiley. "It was a good performance against a good Wake Forest team that had won most of its matches yesterday against Texas A&M. I'm very please with the way we played today."
