  • With the 45-14 win over Indiana, the Illini improve to 40-17-3 in the series, 26-17-1 in Champaign.
  • The Illini also won their third straight homecoming game, moving their record in homecoming games to 41-49-2. The Illini defeated Wisconsin, 42-35, and Iowa, 31-0 in the previous two games.
  • Illinois placekicker Peter Christofilakos set a new school record with 59 consecutive extra points made, dating back to Sept. 22, 2001 vs. Louisville. He broke the previous record of 56 straight made by Doug Higgins from Nov. 7, 1987 to Nov. 18, 1989.
  • Senior running back Antoineo Harris rushed for over 175 yards for the second straight game. The last time and Illini running back put together back to back 175-yard games was in 1965 by Jim Grabowski with 196 vs. Wisconsin and 187 vs. Northwestern.
  • Harris rushed for four touchdowns, a career-high, and the most since Howard Griffith scored eight rushing TDs vs. Southern Illinois in 1990.
  • With 28 carries today, Harris improved to fifth on the all-time rushing attempt list with 544, one shy of former teammate Rocky Harvey's 545 career rushes.
  • With the 45-14 win over Indiana, Illinois head coach Ron Turner won his 29th career game with the Illini. He moves to sixth on the school's coaching win list, tied with Bob Blackman.
  • Junior safety (converted wide receiver) Eric McGoey recorded his first career interception in the fourth quarter.
  • The Illini held the Hoosiers to only 81 yards rushing, the fewest since 29 vs. Louisville in 2001.
  • With 459 yards of total offense, the Illini have posted their sixth straight game over 400 yards.
  • Sophomore tight end Anthony McClellan caught a career-high five passes for a career-high 52 yards.
  • Illinois moves to 9-2 in Memorial Stadium in the past two years.
  • Brandon Lloyd has caught a pass in 24 consecutive games. Walter Young has a streak of 21 straight games with a reception.
  • Illinois' 45 points are the most against a Big Ten opponent since defeating Ohio State 46-20 at Columbus on Nov. 13, 1999.
