COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Illinois, Ball State and Akron tied for 14th at the Kepler Intercollegiate. All three teams finished with totals of 940 strokes. The host Ohio State Buckeyes won the tournament with a three-round total of 893 strokes at the 71-par, 7,221-yard OSU Scarlet Course.
Sophomore Geoff Lound continued to lead the Illini as he tied for 23rd with a tournament total of 227. Evan Olson tied for 56th with a 237. Ryan More was one stroke behind at 238. He tied for 62nd. Chris Dobrovolny shot a 243 to tie for 82nd. Ryan Tendall finished 87th with a total of 245.
The Illini will return to Ohio next weekend to compete at the First Energy Intercollegiate on Friday and Saturday.
