POTTSBORO, Texas --The Illini are at 8th place in the 17 team Dr. Pepper Intercollegiate Tourney after only one round of action today. Heavy rains left the 72-par, 7,001-yard Tanglewood Golf Course unplayable in the first round. The second round was held, where the Illini shot a team total of 305.

Geoff Lound and Tim Riley led the Illini today with a tie for 11th place by shooting 74. Freshman Ryan Tendall finished tied for 33rd with a 76. Evan Olson opened the tournament tied for 74th with 81 and Ryan Moore shot 84 in the round to end up tied for 84th place.

The Illini hope to continue playing well in the final round of the Dr Pepper Intercollegiate on Sunday.
