Madison, Wis. - The 25th-ranked University of Illinois volleyball team had its seven-match winning streak ended tonight by the Big Ten-leading and seventh-ranked Wisconsin Badgers. Illinois fell in straight games at Wisconsin by the score of 20-30, 22-30, 24-30. Illinois moves to 15-6 overall and 8-5 in Big Ten play, while the Badgers improve to 18-3 on the season and 12-1 in the conference.

Wisconsin out-hit the Illini .311-to-.151 and enjoyed a 54-35 advantage in digs. The Badgers received a match-high 16 kills on .500 hitting from middle blocker Sherisa Livingston, while setter Lizzy Fitzgerald recorded 46 assists.

Leading the way for the Illini was sophomore middle blocker Lisa Argabright. Argabright continued her sensational play, tallying a match-high 11 kills, while hitting nearly .400, finishing the match with an attack percentage of .391. Senior outside hitter Shadia Haddad registered eight kills and a match-high 12 digs, while senior Lydia Gard and freshman Lauren Harks added seven kills each.

Next up for the Illini is a match at Northwestern on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m.
