Education:
Garrison is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she earned her bachelor's degree in kinesiology. Garrison is also a graduate of Georgetown University, where she earned her master's degree in sports industry management.
Responsibilities:
Garrison currently serves as an assistant director of academic services.
Past Experience:
Garrison previously served as an athletic academic advisor at UIC (2024-2026), where she supported student-athletes across men's soccer, softball, women's volleyball, and women's golf. In addition to Garrison's advising responsibility, she served as the primary student-athlete development coordinator, developing and executing programming and events for the student-athlete population.
Prior to UIC, Garrison worked within Georgetown Univertisity's athletics department as a DEI coordinator and student-athlete services intern. While in that role, Garrison helped develop programming and initiatives designed to support minority student-athletes, staff, and coaches while promoting an inclusive and supportive athletics environment.
Personal:
Born and raised in Pasadena, California, she is a proud alumna of Illinois women's soccer, where she competed as a student-athlete and graduated in 2023.
