Education:
Earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Illinois in 2021 and completed his master's degree from NIU in 2023.
Job Responsibilities:
He currently serves as the athletic trainer for the Illinois men’s and women’s track & field and cross country programs.
Past Experience:
Casas most recently served as an athletic trainer at Northern Illinois, working with their track and field program. Prior to that, he spent a year at the University of Miami (FL), supporting the Hurricanes’ track and field student-athletes.
Casas' clinical background also includes internships with the Louisville track and field program as well as the Chicago Fire Soccer Academy, where he provided care for elite youth athletes.
Certifications:
Owens Blood Flow Restriction / DN2 (American academy of manipulative therapy)
