Nick Eller spent five seasons on the Illinois staff from 2020-24. Eller, who was hired in February 2020, was an assistant athletic trainer working with the Illinois football team.

Eller received his bachelor’s degree from Iowa State in 2016 and his graduate degree at the University of Nebraska in 2018.

While at Iowa State, Eller completed internships with the Dallas Cowboys in both 2014 and 2015. He worked the Nebraska football team from 2016-18 and did a seasonal internship with the Indianapolis Colts.

Eller resided in Champaign with his wife, Halie, and their dog, Chloe.
