Mechling is a two-time graduate of the University of Illinois, where he earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in recreation, sport and tourism.
Responsibilities:
In June 2024, Mechling moved into an assistant ticketing manager role with the Illinois Ticket Office, working with the women's basketball and volleyball programs.
Past Experience:
From June 2023 - June 2024, Mechling served as an assistant director of Fan Relations and Development at Illinois.
Mechling was a ticket operations intern at Oregon from July 2022 - June 2023. He also served as a women's basketball manager with the Illini program from September 2019 - March 2022.
Personal:
Mechling is a native of Mt. Zion, Illinois, and has been attending Illinois sporting events since his childhood with his family.
