Education:
Doran earned her bachelor’s degree in arts with a minor in communication from Eastern Illinois University. She also earned a Master of Science in Talent Development.
Job Responsibilities:
Doran oversees a variety of human resources functions, with a focus on supporting employees and leaders throughout the employee life cycle. Her responsibilities include onboarding new hires, overseeing AVSL, FMLA, and ADA processes, and providing guidance and support related to employee needs and workplace policies. She works closely with campus partners and leadership to ensure HR processes are handled effectively, consistently, and in alignment with university policies and practices.
Past Experience:
Doran has extensive experience across multiple areas of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations and engagement, leave administration, data management, and the development and implementation of policies and procedures. Her experience also includes partnering with leaders on recruitment and hiring, employee development, workplace concerns, and HR processes designed to support both employees and organizational goals.
Personal:
Outside of work, Doran enjoys volunteering with CU 1 to 1 mentoring, traveling, and spending time with her family.
