Education:
Coulson is a 2021 graduate of the University of Illinois, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in kinesiology. She went on to earn a Master of Science in recreation, sport, and tourism from Illinois in 2023.
Responsibilities:
Coulson serves as the primary compliance officer monitoring recruiting activities, playing and practice season, as well as countable athletically related activities. She also serves as primary compliance contact for the Illinois track and field program.
Past Experience:
Served as the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) Director of Athletic Compliance from January 2024-April 2026, providing monthly rules education, was the primary liaison for Housing, Dining Services, Financial Aid, and the International Office, and conducted initial and transfer eligibility evaluations on incoming prospective student-athletes for all 18 sports. Whiel at Missouri State University as a compliance coordinator from June 2023 - January 2024, she monitored NCAA Eligibility Center status for prospective student-athletes, recruiting activities, playing and practice seasons, and aided with the writing of financial aid agreements.
Most recently, Coulson was an athletic compliance intern at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from August 2021 - May of 2023 while pursuing her master's degree.
Personal:
A native of Fairmount, Illinois, Coulson was an Illinois track & field student-athlete from 2017-21. She now lives in Savoy with her husband, Bryce.
