Chase Britt enters his first season as an assistant athletic trainer with the Illinois football program in 2025.

Britt joined the Fighting Illini after previously serving as the head athletic trainer for the football program at Ball State for two seasons. He first joined the Ball State athletic training staff in the Spring of 2022 as an assistant athletic trainer primarily covering football and assisting with men’s and women’s tennis in the spring. 

Britt arrived at Ball State by way of the Indianapolis Colts where he was a full-time seasonal athletic trainer for two years.

Britt received his bachelor's degree in athletic training from Northern Kentucky University where he had a variety of clinical experiences that helped him develop his passion for athletic training, including work with the Thomas More College football team and the Cincinnati Bengals. He ventured to Texas A&M-Kingsville where he received his master's degree in educational administration and served as the athletic trainer for the football and men’s basketball teams.
