Education:
Robbins received her bachelor's degree in sport management from Otterbein University in 2014, and her master's degree in sport administration from Ball State University in 2016.
Job Responsibilities:
Robbins has the primary responsibility of leading strategy, development, organization, and execution of advertising and digital campaigns to grow Fighting Illini Athletics revenue streams.
Past Experience:
Robbins joined the DIA in January of 2024 by way of IPTAY at Clemson University, where she served as the Director of Communications and led all outbound efforts to generate philanthropic contributions as well as collaboration with various athletic department units on cohesive strategy to maximize revenue. In her role, she led the creation and distribution of all internal and external IPTAY print and digital content, She also served as the lead editor for ORANGE: The Experience magazine, distributed to more than 20,000 members six times per year.
Prior to Clemson, Robbins served as Associate Director of Revenue Strategy for Purdue University from 2022-23 after a successful stint as the Assistant Director of Strategic Initiatives from 2020-2022. Her responsibilities at Purdue encompassed the coordination of all revenue-generating communication, including but not limited to; ticket sales, capital projects, business initiatives, fundraising, multimedia rights, and other key department priorities. She also managed the marketing and communications efforts for the John Purdue Club, overseeing email distribution, mail, website, social media, digital advertising, crowdfunding campaigns, media distribution, and gift proposals.
Before Purdue, Robbins was the Advancement Officer for Direct Marketing (Athletics) at Marquette University with the Blue & Gold Fund from 2017-2020, where she was responsible for aligning strategy across multiple entities, including athletics communications and marketing, university communications, and the annual giving program.
She also spent time as the Leadership Annual Giving Coordinator for the Ball State University Foundation from 2016-2017.
