Education:
Walsh graduated from North Central College with a bachelor's degree in marketing in 1994. He then earned a master’s degree in sports administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Job Responsibilities:
Walsh coordinates all aspects of Fighting Illini Camps & Clinics. From day one, Walsh’s efforts generated 70+ sport camps & clinics. Since 2012, Walsh has been able to maintain the annual offering of 80+ camps/clinics. This number annually translates into 7,500-8,500 attendees and over $1.5 million in revenue.
Past Experience:
Before coming to Illinois, Walsh was a track & field / cross country coach at St. Mary's University in Winona (Minn.).
Personal:
Walsh and his wife, Nancy, live in Champaign.
