Education:
Danbury received her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Northeastern University in 2013. She completed her Master of Science in Kinesiology in 2015 from the University of Illinois.

Job Responsibilities:
Danbury oversees care of the Swimming and Diving team.

Past Experience:
Anne first joined the University of Illinois Sports Medicine staff in 2013 as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with Women’s Track + Field and Cross Country. Upon graduation, she was then hired as an Assistant Athletic Trainer working primarily with the Men’s Gymnastics team.

While in school at Northeastern, Anne completed internships at University of Massachusetts Boston, Harvard University and Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports.

Certifications:
Danbury is a Board Certified Athletic Trainer, licensed in Illinois, and is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Personal:
The Thedford, Vermont native currently resides in Champaign with her husband Chris and dog, Mikey.
