Posted an 11-5 record during the 2022-23 season, including 4-3 in dual action … was locked in a lineup battle for the 133 starting spot before a leg injury derailed his season late in the year … won first six matches of the season … went 3-0 to win the Cyclone Open at 133 pounds … placed seventh at the Southern Scuffle … earned two ranked victories, defeating No. 16 Jason Shaner (Oregon State) and No. 23 Sean Carter (App State) … earned three bonus-point victories, all pins.

2021-22 (Iowa State)

2022 NCAA Qualifier ... finished third at 133-pounds at the Big 12 Championship ... one of two 2022 NCAA Qualifiers listed with international hometowns (Yonger Bastida) ... compiled a 16-8 overall record, including 8-5 in dual meets ... Finished year with four major decisions and a fall ... Had three wins over top 30 ranked wrestlers, including a win over No. 14 Anthony Madrigal (Oklahoma) ... Posted a 9-3 record during the 2021 season… appeared in one dual, winning by 10-2 major decision over Lindenwood’s Tanner Hitchcock… tied for second on the team for the most pins (4)… five total bonus-point wins on the year (four pins, one major decision)… started the season 3-0, winning all three matches by fall.

2019-20 (Iowa State)

Redshirted his initial season at Iowa State… wrestled to a 21-8 record while competing unattached… competed in seven open tournaments throughout the year, including the Southern Scuffle… won the Sioux City Dave Edmonds Open, posting a 5-0 record with two pins and a technical fall… runner-up at the UNI Open… took third place at the Last Chance Open and Grand View Open… began the year with a fourth-place outing at the Cyclone Open… finished the season tied for the most technical fall wins (four), three major decision and two pins.
