Education:
Brown earned a bachelor’s degree in bio-kinetics: exercise science from Bethel University in 2018 and a master’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2020.

Job Responsibilities:
Brown currently oversees all phases of training for soccer, and men’s and women’s tennis.

Past Experience:
Prior to joining the Illinois Strength team, Brown spent two years with the Bethel University Strength and Conditioning team, serving as an assistant strength and conditioning coach focusing his efforts on women’s ice hockey and men’s and women’s tennis sports performance.

From May 2018 to September 2019, while completing his master’s degree, Brown served as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Olympic Strength and Conditioning department focusing his efforts on men’s and women’s tennis, and men’s and women’s rowing sports performance.

For the past three years, Brown served as the strength and conditioning director at Lake Superior State University, overseeing the sports performance for men’s ice hockey, men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, and men’s and women’s tennis. 

Personal:
Brown currently resides with his wife, Ella, in Savoy, Ill. Brown is a certified strength and conditioning specialist(CSCS), and holds other certifications from USA weightlifting, Functional Movement Screen, NASM, RPR and Ballistic Management.
