  • Heuser and Duong became second-ever Illini doubles team to earn All-American status
  • Went 18-9 overall in singles, 13-5 in dual play and 6-1 in Big Ten action, playing at No. 2 (2-0), 3 (8-3) and 4 (3-2)
  • Own a 3-2 record against nationally ranked opponents and went unfinished against three more. Victories came over No. 82 Julia Andreach of Notre Dame (10/20/22), No. 102 Nibi Ghosh of Notre Dame (2/5/23) and No. 103 Christina Hand of Northwestern (3/10/23)
  • Finished the season on a four-match win streak and went 5-1 in her last 10 outings
  • Faced five nationally ranked opponents on the singles court
  • Went 27-11 overall in doubles play on the season including a 16-6 dual record all at No. 1
  • Tallied a 6-2 record in Big Ten doubles
  • Went 6-4 vs. nationally ranked opponents on the doubles court
  • Teamed up with Duong to take down the No. 1 ranked doubles tandem at the ITA National Fall Championships (Carol Lee/Kate Sharabura, Georgia Tech) and would reach the Round of 16
  • Won the ITA Midwest Regional doubles championship with Duong – the third-ever Illini duo to win a regional championship
  • Won the Fighting Illini Women’s Open USTA/ITF 15K Doubles championship with Duong in the fall

Freshman - 2021-22

  • Ranked third on the team in wins after posting a 13-7 record in her first season with the Illini, including an 11-6 record on court four, a 1-0 mark on court two and a 1-1 tally on court three
  • Posted the second-most wins in conference action with an 8-2 record
  • Finished the season with a 7-1 record in her final eight results
  • Team with Kate Duong at No. 1 doubles, posting a 13-8 record, including a 6-3 mark in league play

  • Goals after college include playing professional doubles on the WTA and/ or going into medical field to work with young kids as a Physicians Assistant
  • Chose Illinois because “From the moment I got to the campus I felt like this place could really be my home away from home. I bonded extremely well with all the coaching staff, and all the players both on the Men’s and Women’s Tennis teams. Alongside the incredible tennis program Illinois offers, they are also an excellent academic school that has contributed to my wishing of wanting to be an Illini!”
