Personal

Daughter of Gary and Sarah Boeres... Has one brother, Oliver and one sister, Sarah... Her dad Gary played four years of soccer at Cincinnati and her brother Oliver is playing soccer at Findlay... Her mom's best friend, Elena Halbeisen, is her biggest influence in her athletic career. She was the one to got her to switch over from soccer to diving since she wasn't enjoying soccer but everyone in her family played it... Chose Illinois because "In my recruiting process, I was asked if I wanted to be a shark or swim with the sharks as a collegiate diver. I knew that the University of Illinois provided me the support and opportunity to swim with the sharks and not only push me to compete with the other Big Ten athletes, but also provide the academic challenges I need for future career successes."
