Born August 29, 2004... Daughter of Troy and Shawn Steiner... Her dad, Troy, is in the National Wrestling Hall of Fame as a four-time All-American and 1992 NCAA Champion for the Iowa Hawkeyes... Her mother, Shawn, ran track and cross country at Iowa as well... Has one brother, Spencer, who wrestles at NIU... Holds a Bachelor Degree in Health Sciences... Chose Illinois because "I wanted to maximize my potential in running and fulfill my dreams of competing at the highest level. I love the location, culture, resources, and academic opportunities that are provided at Illinois."
