• Earned second win of season against Eastern Illinois (April 20) with 4.2 scoreless innings - second longest outing of career- and allowed just five hits and a walk in the appearance

Freshman - 2015

• Appeared in a total of 17 games as a freshman, making three starts at designated player with 11 games as a relief pitcher.
• Went 1-0 with a 5.07 ERA, allowing 18 runs, 14 earne,d on 28 hits and 18 walks with 10 strikeouts over 19.1 inning pitched.
• Batted .214 (3-for-4) with a home run, two runs and two RBIs.
• Maintained a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
• Finished out the fifth inning in relief at No. 12 Georgia (2/6), allowing a double and a walk but no charged runs.
• Played right field for the final inning against Coppin State and took her first career at-bat.
• Hit a pinch-hit home run in the seventh inning to pull the Illini within one run of Mississippi State (2/13).
• Did not allow an earned run in 5.1 innings vs. New Mexico (2/21).
• Provided solid relief against No. 20 Missouri, tossing 2.2 innings with 2 Ks.
• Earned her first career win at Northwestern, allowing just one run over three quality innings in relief.

• A four-sport athlete, Giddens also played varsity basketball, soccer and track.
