• Placed sixth in the in the 60m at the Illini Classic (7.11)
• finished eighth in the 400m at the Music City Challenge (49.68)

Outdoor

• Finished fifth at the Redbird Invite in the 400m (49.74) 
• Placed ninth in the 400m at the Ole Miss Classic with a time of 49.23
• Finished ninth in the 400m at the Illini Classic (49.53)

2021 freshman 

Indoor

• Ran season-best time (50.83) in the 400m at the Hawkeye B1G Invitational 

Outdoor

• Placed 5th in the 400 m at the M City Classic with a time of 49.24
• Ran a season-best time of 48.93 in the 400m at the Husker Big 10 Invite

• Also played football and basketball in high school

• Son of Nathan and Jenny Anderson
• Has two brothers, Alex and Brady 
• Plans on getting a degree in animal sciences and working with animals in the future
• Chose Illinois because it has always been a favorite school and it feels like home
