  • Finished the year ranked 59th nationally in singles
  • Spent the Fall playing in professional tournaments and won his first professional singles title at the Mayfair Men's $15K Futures in Canada on Sept. 21
  • Finished 13-7 overall
  • At-large selection for the NCAA Singles Championships where he fell in the first round to Notre Dame’s Quentin Monaghan
  • Played primarily as Illinois’ No. 1 singles player, where he went 9-5
  • Went 5-1 in Big Ten play
