Courtney Bay is in her fifth year with the Fighting Illini as director of creative media, specializing in storytelling, video, photography, social media production and graphic design.
Bay joined the Illini staff after working the previous five years at Oklahoma State. She spent her first two seasons as a multimedia producer for the football program before becoming creative director for men’s and women’s basketball. In March 2020 she was elevated to creative director for the OSU athletics department while continuing to work with the Cowboy basketball teams.
A member of the Association for Women in Sports Media, Bay was named to the Front Office Sports Rising 25 Class of 2018 and earned a Heartland Emmy nomination in 2021.
A native of Frisco, Texas, Bay graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in sports media in 2016.
