• Closed the season on a five-match win streak
• Earned an upset win over No. 78-ranked Brianna Shvets at No. 15 Duke in a 6-1, 6-4 decision (1/20/24)
• Posted an 11-13 record in doubles play including a 7-11 mark in dual play, and 4-3 showing in Big Ten matches

• Opened the season with a 5-5 record in singles, including a 2-0 mark at No. 4, a 1-1 tally at No. 5 and a 2-4 record at No. 6.
• Went 1-0 with partner Emily Casati at No. 3 doubles
• Was sidelined halfway through the season with an injury

Personal

• Daughter of Kimberly and Pete Ferrari
• Studying strategic business development & entrepreneurship
• Plans to pursue a career in the medical field after tennis career is over
• “I chose Illinois because from the moment we drove onto campus for the first time, lightning struck for me. I love the combination of modern with historic architecture. I especially liked the energy and lively campus life, even while visiting in the middle of February. The team immediately included me and brought me into the tennis environment which made me feel comfortable and right at home. The coaches also personally strived to make a more emotional connection with me, not just tennis centric, which was a huge driver causing me to choose Illinois over all other schools. Illinois has top academics which was another critical aspect of my “dream school” search, and, as my dad attended a state school, he really appreciates this type of experience/education."
