2019 Volleyball Ball Kid Registration
Sign up today for the chance to become a Fighting Illini Ball Kid for the 2019 Volleyball season!
Being a Fighting Illini Ball Kid gives you the best seat in the house to watch your favorite Fighting Illini players while helping to make sure we give the players from both teams the best experience possible. To join the Fighting Illini Ball Kids program, you must:
- Be between 3rd and 8th grade
- Be able to retrieve balls and return balls in a timely manner as well as sweep on court between stoppages
- Arrive 45 minutes prior to the start of the match and stay until the match is completed
We also accept local youth teams! If your team is interested, please have your coach contact us for more details.
Ball kids who participate in 100% of the matches they are scheduled for will receive a prize at the conclusion of the season.
All matches are held at Huff Hall. Game dates, times and promotions are subject to change.
It is highly recommended that all children who are interested and/or selected to become Ball Kids attend the Orange & Blue Scrimmage for training on August 24 at 5 p.m. CT at Huff Hall. Ball Kids and one (1) parent/guardian will receive FREE admission to any volleyball match that the child is scheduled to work. All other family and friends will need to purchase tickets through the Illinois Ticket Office (1-866-ILLINI-1).
Registration does NOT guarantee a spot to be a Ball Kid. Ball kids and their families will be notified a minimum of one week before match day.
