• Placed sixth in the weight throw at the Big Ten Indoor Championships, 21.07m (69-1 1/2)
• Won the shot put at both the Wisconsin Badgers Midwest Invite and Illini Challenge

Outdoor

• Set the program's second-best shot put, 19.34m (63- 5 1/2), at the Gary Wieneke Memorial
• Threw the program's third furthest discus [56.59m (185-8)] and eighth furthest hammer throw [57.98m (190-3)] at the Fighting Illini Challenge
• Finished top-two in four out of seven of his shot put appearances
