Senior wide receiver Collin Dixon helped Illinois close out nonconference play with a 48-10 win over Southern Illinois, recording two touchdown receptions. Dixon now leads the country with seven touchdown receptions, breaking Illinois' single-season record for touchdown receptions at Gies Memorial Stadium. He has 25 receptions for 367 yards through three games, ranking fourth nationally in receptions and sixth in receiving yards.
Dixon, a senior from Tallmadge, Ohio, is studying Marketing at the University of Illinois.
