Women’s Basketball Non-Conference Schedule Announced

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The fourth non-conference schedule of the Shauna Green era at Illinois has been announced and features nine home games inside State Farm Center.

The first of those nine home contests will be an exhibition against Maryville (Mo.) on Oct. 30. Illinois' regular-season opener is slated for Tuesday, Nov. 4, against Southeast Missouri State. Later that week, the Orange and Blue will host Illinois State on Sunday Nov. 9. From there, two of Illinois' next three games will be on the road.

Illinois' non-conference slate features three road games, including return trips to Oregon State (Nov. 14) and Florida State (Nov. 23). Additionally, the Fighting Illini will resume the McBride Homes Braggin' Rights series against Missouri in Columbia on Dec. 10.

Following the trip to Corvallis, Oregon, the Fighting Illini will host Murray State on Nov. 18. Later that week, Illinois will hit the road in the opposite direction, visiting Florida State on Nov. 23. On Nov. 26, Western Kentucky will come to town, followed by a rematch with Le Moyne on Nov. 30.

The early Big Ten game will fall between Dec. 4-9 and will be announced at a later date.

Non-conference action in December resumes on Dec. 10 at Missouri. Illinois will return home to close out the non-con slate beginning with North Texas on Dec. 14, followed by Jackson State (Dec. 19) and Bellarmine (Dec. 21).

Illinois' full Big Ten schedule will be released at a later date. Home and road matchups for the 18-game Big Ten schedule were announced in April.

New season tickets for the 2025-26 Fighting Illini women's basketball campaign are on sale now. Illinois enters Year 4 under head coach Shauna Green and has compiled a 38-11 record at home over the last three seasons, including four upsets of AP top-25 ranked teams: No. 12 Iowa (1/1/23), No. 14 Indiana (2/19/24), No. 19 Florida State (11/7/24), and No. 23 Iowa (1/9/25).

In three seasons under Green, the Illinois women's basketball team has registered 63 wins, the first-ever postseason championship in program history (2024 WBIT), and three consecutive top-5 season attendances in State Farm Center. Additionally, the Illini have racked up six AP Top 25-ranked wins, secured double-digit home victories for three straight seasons for the first time in program history, won Illinois' first NCAA Tournament game in 25 seasons, and brought in the No. 7-ranked recruiting class by espnW coming in for the 2025-26 campaign.
